Behind The Stream: Buyers Journey in 60 Seconds
I’ve got a hot take for you.
Video should have a job description.
That’s right. You wouldn’t hire an employee without knowing what they’re expected to do for your company, so why should video be any different?
I realize that when we start thinking creatively about video, it can be easy to lose sight of what we’re actually trying to accomplish. And that’s how you end up with a great-looking video that doesn’t really do much for your business.
For example, in the sales process, your buyers need to hear different things depending on where they are in their decision-making process. And video can do a lot of that communicating for you, if you give it the right job.
In this week’s Behind the Stream, we’re sharing where we first heard this idea nearly 10 years ago and how it shaped the way we think about video today.
And if you’re not sure what job your video should be doing, hit reply. I’d be happy to help you think it through.
