Seven years ago, I did something that made me very uncomfortable.
I put myself on camera talking sales strategy.
And even though I’d been doing video for years already, this one felt different, because it was for us.
Our brand. Our voice. Our story.
At the time, we called it “Mainstream Video Video” (we were clearly in our brainstorming era). Today, you know it as #BehindTheStream—and it’s been going strong almost every single week for 7 years.
In honor of that milestone, we’re bringing you a blast from the past:

We’ve shown up every week for 7 years with video content.
It’s helped us stay top of mind.
It’s brought in sales.
It’s given us data to refine our ad strategy.
It’s helped people get to know who we are—before they ever book a meeting.
Would I have chosen that outfit again? Probably not.
Do I love rewatching myself talk about KPIs with 2017 hair? Definitely not.
But I do love what this series has done for our business.
And that’s why I’ll keep showing up.
Because being in more places at once?
