Behind The Stream: Fear Of Being On Camera
This month has me thinking a lot about fear. Probably because my husband loves scary movies, and October is the only month I agree to watch them.
But scary movies aside, nothing is quite as terrifying as the movie we play in our own heads about getting on camera. And even worse? Watching ourselves on camera.
For some people, it’s a bigger fear than public speaking.
I know this fear well. I became a producer because the job was safely BEHIND the camera.
That had to change when I started my own business and realized getting my message out there mattered more than staying comfortable.
So this week, I’m sharing what I really think about getting on camera, what makes it a little less terrifying, and why it matters for your business.
No jump scares, I promise.
