But how exactly do you do that without losing your mind or scaring off your team?

In this week’s #BehindTheStream we answer that question, including the step-by-step schedule that keeps things smooth and your people confident.

Ready to take the guesswork out of your next shoot?

Beth: You have a plan, you fail to plan, you plan to fail.

You have a great plan and you are going to execute something amazing.

I still believe that it is best practices to create a schedule for your day as it relates to our storyboard and the way that we do this for all of our clients is kind of how it sounds.

We arrive at 9:00, we set up till 10:00.
10:00 to 10:30 is interview with this person.
10:30 to 11:00 is interview with this person.

If you create a plan for that day, you will help your– you will make sure you get everything that you need for the video. You will make sure that everyone feels comfortable and confident about being on camera.

Everyone has some level of fear of being on camera. So if you can mitigate that by telling them we need you from 10:30 to 11:00 and we are going to ask you these questions and here’s generally what we’re hoping that you will say, and here’s the storyboard while we’re at it of the video and the message we are looking to send.

The more prepared you can be for your shoot day, the better that your shoot is going to go, the better that your video is going to turn out.
